Alexandra will be singing the role of  'The Angel of Truth' in this exciting new work by Piers Maxim.

In 2007, Thane Byng, a collateral descendant of Admiral Byng was presented with a musket ball as a gift. It took place outside Southill Church, Bedfordshire, where her forebear is buried - and on the day of the 250th anniversary of his death. This gesture instantly inspired the idea for the oratorio. Many years have passed to reach the accomplishment that Piers Maxim's composition has achieved. The libretto begins with Handel creating the oratorio fo the sake of truth and prosperity. The historic  past and the contemporary present take place with Hope and Voltaire's Candide helping to contend with dark forces.
